Zoanthid Anemone
(Undescribed species)

An aggregation of Zoanthid Anemones clings to a rock
while waiting for the currents to deliver a meal.

When disturbed, they pull their tentacles in for protection,
as the two on the left have done.

These Zoanthids grow to a height of about 0.5 inches (10mm),
and are only found at Santa Catalina Island.
